Alot has been said about the importance of recruiting, developing and retaining top talent in business. Granted this is important but what about the 70% of an organisations employee base that are not considered top talent? With the exception of the bottom 10%, the chance to optimise the performance of the bulk of employees is a missed opportunity to fully realise the potential of those individuals and of course the company itself!
